Campground is clean and neat, with a large number of units there on extended stay (construction workers). The owners have decided to leave the campground open longer this year because of all of these campers. Many of the campground amenities, such as the ice cream parlor, were closed down and unavailable. The owners believe that the campground has been sold, and the new owners will be on board next spring.
The campground was clean and neat, and the facilities worked well. The staff was friendly and accommodating. She even had treats ready for my dog! The park is for sale, and, the owner believes, has been purchased. In all likely hood, it will be under new ownership next spring.
We stayed here for 9 days, as we toured the Branson area. The owners were great, and, when we had problems with our motorhome, offered tools, assistance, and helped us find a qualified repairman. The dock was great to fish from. Everything was neat and clean. We area was under great pressure, as there was a huge amount of rain there all month. Most of the sites were higher and fine, although a few were a little wetter than others. The owners did all they could to make sure that campers were moved if needed.
We camped here for 5 days. Upon arrival, our reserved campsite proved to be unacceptable. Despite assurances when I made reservations, we could not get our 40 foot motorhome into the pull through. Since the park was not crowded, we found a back in site that was acceptable. The rest rooms and showers were very old and in desperate need of basic care and cleaning. We really enjoyed our stay here otherwise.
This is one of our favorite campgrounds. The owners are friendly, and there are lots of activities. The view is spectacular and is in a great locations.
